【design】
These 5-pocket pants were inspired by the jeans worn by miners in the late 1800s to early 1900s. They have a slightly higher rise and a wide, straight silhouette with moderate room from the thighs to the hem.
These jeans do not have a yoke at the back, which is a feature of typical jeans, but instead have darts placed vertically and horizontally to create a roomy, three-dimensional fit around the hips.
The design is original while still following the image of the time, with original iron tack buttons, punched rivets, two-needle buckles, and narrow stitching. The origins lie in overalls that were born as workwear, and this pair of jeans was made with reference to vintage prototypes from the transition from overalls to jeans.

[Materials/Fabric]
Original 13.5oz denim. Zimbabwean long staple cotton is used for the warp thread, and natural brown cotton before it was bred is used for the weft thread, which is carefully woven on a shuttle loom. The surface is not singed, but is specially sanforized to give it a slight twist when washed. This fabric, custom-made to look like vintage, has been specially treated to prevent shrinkage, so it shrinks to a minimum, but does twist and pill just like vintage denim. It features a deep indigo color and a subtle vertical fading.

・The watch pocket for a pocket watch is located high up in the jacket, a distinctive feature of the design. This design was inspired by a model of overalls that had the top section removed.
-Reproduces the rivets under the crotch seen before the war.

When jeans were first released, they were very simply made, with no yoke in the back and just tucks on both sides. While keeping that design, we added darts vertically and horizontally to create a three-dimensional shape around the hips.
- The back pocket is eye-catching with its wide, almost square shape, and also features punched, exposed rivets.
- The distinctive cinch buckle is a remnant of overalls, used to improve the fit around the hips.
