「 CORBY - ROKKAKU EYEWEAR DESIGN 」
OBJ とのコラボレーションアイウェア。モダニズム建築の巨匠ル・コルビュジエがかけていたモデルからインスピレーションを得て、フレンチビンテージのイメージを継承しつつ、現代の日本の技術の粋を使ってリイマジネーションしたモデル。京都の文化的フィルターを通したデザインに、人間工学に基づいた理論を加味して、福井県鯖江で製造。
テンプルの芯材には、無垢のチタン材を使用。酸化しないチタン材を使うことによって、軽さと弾力性を追求。バチ先のデザインを太くし、重心をフレームの後ろ側に持っていく工夫によりフレーム全体のバランスを整えられています。また、芯材側面には唐草模様をプレス。丁番部分には、桂離宮の襖の引手をモチーフとした意匠を使用するなど、一から型をおこして作成したエレガントなデザインが個性を際立たせる逸品。シンプルな装いの格を上げるアクセサリーとしてお使いください。
