パリジャンスタイルをベースとしたデザイン。玉型は CARL をほんの少しだけ四角寄りにし、フレームは細くスッキリとさせ、掛けやすいシェイプにまとめました。
【PEN = AIGUILLES DE LA PENAZ】
フランス、オートサヴォワのボーフォルタン山地にある山、エギュイユ・ド・ラ・ベナ。一部の尾根形状がブリッジに似ていたことから命名。1stコレクションは山好きのデザイナーが選んだ山から、人名ぽくネーミングされたフレームたちがそろっています。
【NORUT manufacture】
NORUTのフロントは張りがあるTROGAMID、テンプルにはしなやかで調整しやすいTR90LXというエンジニアリングプラスチックを使用。射出成型、切削、ガラ入れ、塗装の工程を経て完成します。この素材の大きな特徴は軽さ。長時間着用しても疲れにくい軽さ。アセテートに比べて、縮みや変形が起こりにくいことも、この素材を採用した理由の一つ。
TROGAMIDはドイツのクリアノヴァ社、TR90LXはスイスのエムス社が製造するナイロン素材。共に耐衝撃、耐紫外線、耐摩擦性といった強靭さを持つ素材で、皮脂や化粧品に対しても耐性があり、医療機器にも使用されている素材です。
【NEW HINGE】
特徴的なのはフレーム内に収まる、モダナイズした蝶番機構。ただ隠れているだけではありません。テンプル開閉時のクリック感は病みつきになるはずです。開閉テストは2万回をクリア（一日5回の開閉で10年以上使える計算）。蝶番に使用しているメタルパーツはβチタン材。これが程よくバネとなり心地の良い開閉を生み出します。
