ブランドのアーカイブにあるマルチパーパストレイルシューズから着想を得ながら、アウトドアアクティビティの後にも心地よく履ける“Aftersport”の思想を現代へつないだ「MOC SPEED STREAK EVO SE」。シューレースを持たないモックスタイルに、異素材を組み合わせた立体的なアッパーを合わせ、リラックスした履き方とテクニカルな佇まいを両立しています。
アッパーにはリサイクルカウスエードや100％リサイクルメッシュ、植物由来素材を用いたレザーを組み合わせています。履き口には伸縮性のあるネオプレンストレッチカラーを採用し、足を滑り込ませるようにスムーズに着脱できる構造。つま先には摩耗や衝撃から足先を保護するラバーキャップを配し、モックシューズの軽快さにアウトドアシューズらしい実用性を加えています。
足元を支える機能も充実。50％リサイクル素材を使用した取り外し可能なEVAフォームフットベッドを備え、ミッドソールには20％のリサイクルEVAを配合した軽量EVAフォームを採用しています。さらに、かかと部分の「MERRELL Air Cushion」が着地時の衝撃を吸収しながら安定性を高め、ナイロンアーチシャンクが中足部をサポートします。
アウトソールには、路面をしっかり捉えるMERRELL独自のスティッキーラバーを搭載。ライニングには100％リサイクルメッシュを使用し、フットベッドカバーには臭いの発生を抑える「Cleansport NXT™」加工を施すなど、履き心地への配慮も細部まで行き届いています。
ボリュームのあるパンツに合わせればアウトドア由来の造形が自然に馴染み、スラックスやクリーンなワイドパンツと組み合わせれば、複雑なパネルワークが足元のアクセントに。トレイルシューズの機能とモックの気軽さをひとつにまとめ、日常のスタイリングまで広げた一足です。
